Duvor Dennis named by birth with the stage name Stakes hails from Sogakope but born and breed in Kpong located in the Lower Manya District of Ghana,Eastern Region is a versatile afrobeats artist but specialized in Hip-Pop

He started his basic school at Gift of Hope Int. Sch(GOHIS) located at Kpong and later proceeded to Dora Memorial Int. School complex,Ho where he completed Junior high and later furthered at Bishop Herman College (BIHECO),Kpando respectively.

Stakes in a conversation with Dj Silva Of Smile Time Promos and hypernatty.com when asked about his biggest challenges so far in the music industry he made mention of lacking support from the streets and the general public and from this moment pleading with everyone to support him get to the top.

Dj Silva followed to ask him where ge gets his inspiration from which he answered saying "God,the things around him and most especially my mentor Sarkodie (Obidi)".He also added up that he is currently working on a new project and the move is to drop singles for this year and possible an EP beacuse he was out of the music scene whole of last year for some 1 or 2 reasons
